Winnipeg Jets vs Toronto Maple Leafs Wrap - Winnipeg Wins 3-1

The Jets earned a 3-1 victory over the Maple Leafs on Saturday at Air Canada Centre.

The Jets were a -111 favorite in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 6.5.

Winnipeg got goals from Dustin Byfuglien, Josh Morrissey, and Andrew Copp in the victory. Morrissey opened the scoring at 8:30 of the second period.

Connor Hellebuyck turned in a 28-save effort for the Jets.

Patrick Marleau scored for the Maple Leafs, finding the net behind Connor Hellebuyck.

Toronto got a 26-stop effort from Curtis McElhinney in the loss.

On the power play, Winnipeg went 1-for-3, while the Maple Leafs were 1-for-4 with the man advantage.

Toronto outshot Winnipeg 29-29 in the game.

Next game, Winnipeg takes its act on the road to face Ottawa looking for another win. For Toronto, they head home to face Buffalo.
