Toronto Falls 3-2 to Sabres - Recap

Buffalo got a pair of goals from Jack Eichel as the Sabres skated to a 3-2 victory over Toronto on Monday at Air Canada Centre.

Buffalo won as a +280 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Jack Eichel(2), and Casey Nelson each scored for the Sabres in the victory. Eichel opened the scoring for Buffalo.

Chad Johnson stopped 39 of 41 Toronto shots in the victory.

Patrick Marleau, and Nazem Kadri scored for the Maple Leafs, finding the net behind Chad Johnson.

Toronto got a 24-stop effort from Frederik Andersen in the loss.

On the power play, Buffalo went 0-for-0, while the Maple Leafs were 1-for-1 with the man advantage.

Buffalo lost the shots on goal battle to Toronto by a margin of 41-27.

Buffalo looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Red Wings. The Maple Leafs will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Florida.
