Devils vs Maple Leafs Final: 6-3 - Recap

New Jersey earned a 6-3 victory over Toronto behind a 2-goal performance from Pavel Zacha on Wednesday at Air Canada Centre.

New Jersey got goals from Pavel Zacha(2), Miles Wood(2), Brian Gibbons, and Blake Coleman in the victory. Wood opened the scoring at 9:07 of the first period.

Cory Schneider stopped 47 of 50 Toronto shots in the victory.

Toronto got goals from Auston Matthews, Dominic Moore, and James van Riemsdyk in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Frederik Andersen stopped 25 of 31 shots for the Maple Leafs, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, New Jersey went 1-for-5, while the Maple Leafs were 2-for-8 with the man advantage.

New Jersey lost the shots on goal battle to Toronto by a margin of 50-31.

Next game, New Jersey takes its act home to face Washington looking for another win. For Toronto, they head on the road to face Montreal.
