Tulsa Falls 41-20 to Buckeyes - Recap

TreVeyon Henderson ran for 277 yards as Ohio State handled Tulsa by a score of 41-20 on Saturday at Ohio Stadium.

Ohio State did not, however, defeat the Golden Hurricane against the spread, which closed at -24.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 60.5.

TreVeyon Henderson rushed for 277 yards, while Master Teague III added 62 yards in the win. Garrett Wilson and Jaxon Smith-Njigba added 70 and 33 receiving yards respectively.

Deneric Prince rushed for 38 yards for Tulsa, while Shamari Brooks added 31 yards. Davis Brin threw for 428 yards for the Golden Hurricane, while receivers Josh Johnson and Ezra Naylor II had 149 and 81 yards respectively.

Tulsa lost the offensive yardage battle to Ohio State 508-501 yards in Saturday's game. Tulsa had more first downs as that total ended up 25-24.

Tulsa led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:34-28:26 split in that important category.

Next game, Ohio State takes its act home to face Akron looking for another win. For Tulsa, they head home to face Arkansas State.
