Jayhawks Fall 45-7 Against Baylor - Game Recap

Abram Smith tore up the turf for 122 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Bears to a 45-7 win over the Jayhawks at Kivisto Field at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

Baylor was the ATS victor, as they covered the -17.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 48.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Abram Smith rushed for 122 yards, while Trestan Ebner added 72 yards in the win. R.J. Sneed and Ben Sims added 128 and 34 receiving yards respectively.

Jason Bean rushed for 62 yards for Kansas, while Devin Neal added 33 yards. Jason Bean threw for 57 yards for the Jayhawks, while receivers Luke Grimm and Kwamie Lassiter II had 25 and 14 yards respectively.

Kansas was outgained by Baylor 576-166 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 29-8 by the Bears.

The time of possession battle favored Baylor as their offense was on the field for 33:22, longer than the 26:38 of their opponents.

Baylor heads into a 4 battle against Iowa State. Kansas, meanwhile, will have their next action against Duke.
