Recap - Cougars Defeat Arizona State 27-17

The Sun Devils came up short against the Cougars in Week 3 action on Saturday, falling 27-17 at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

The Cougars were a +3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 50.5.

Tyler Allgeier rushed for 69 yards, while Jaren Hall added 38 yards in the win. Gunner Romney and Neil Pau'u added 95 and 45 receiving yards respectively.

Daniyel Ngata rushed for 82 yards for Arizona State, while Rachaad White added 71 yards. Jayden Daniels threw for 265 yards for the Sun Devils, while receivers Rachaad White and Andre Johnson had 65 and 58 yards respectively.

BYU lost the offensive yardage battle to Arizona State 426-361 yards in Saturday's game. BYU had more first downs as that total ended up 23-19.

BYU lost the time of possession battle 32:23-27:37, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

BYU heads into a Week 4 battle against USF. Arizona State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Colorado.
