Recap - Hurricanes Defeat Appalachian State 25-23

Miami-FL earned a 25-23 victory over Appalachian State on Saturday in Week 2 action at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Hurricanes earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -7.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 54.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Appalachian State was outgained by Miami-FL 375-326 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 25-19 by the Hurricanes.

Appalachian State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:11-27:12 split in that important category.

Miami-FL looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Michigan State. Appalachian State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Elon.
