Ottawa REDBLACKS vs Edmonton Elks Wrap - Ottawa Wins 16-12

The REDBLACKS were Week 1 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Elks by a score of 16-12 at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.

Ottawa won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +7.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 46.0.

Edmonton led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:56-24:04 split in that important category.

Ottawa heads into a Week 3 battle against the Roughriders. Edmonton, meanwhile, will have their next action against Montreal.
