Recap - Richmond Defeats Rhode Island 73-62

Richmond got 21 points and 13 rebounds from T.J. Cline en route to a 73-62 victory over Rhode Island on Wednesday at Robins Center.

Richmond won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +5.5-point spread as underdogs.

ShawnDre' Jones had 18 points for Richmond and Khwan Fore chipped in with 16 points. T.J. Cline had 4 assists for them, while T.J. Cline was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

Rhode Island got a 16-point performance from E.C. Matthews, who was supported by 11 points from Jared Terrell. Jeff Dowtin had 2 assists in a losing cause for Rhode Island, while Kuran Iverson grabbed 23 rebounds.

Richmond was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Rhode Island had a 50-43 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Richmond looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Duquesne. Rhode Island will aim to get back on the winning track vs. St. Bonaventure.
