Denver Falls 27-19 to Steelers - Recap

Denver was unable to contain Najee Harris on Sunday and the result was a 27-19 Week 5 loss against the Steelers.

Bettors who backed the Steelers were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as an underdog of +1.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 40.0.

Najee Harris rushed for 122 yards, while Benny Snell Jr. added 20 yards in the win. Chase Claypool and Diontae Johnson added 130 and 72 receiving yards respectively.

Javonte Williams rushed for 61 yards for Denver, while Melvin Gordon III added 34 yards. Teddy Bridgewater threw for 288 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick had 120 and 89 yards respectively.

Denver lost the offensive yardage battle to Pittsburgh 391-374 yards in Sunday's game. Pittsburgh had more first downs as that total ended up 19-17.

Denver lost the time of possession battle 33:02-26:58, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Pittsburgh takes its act home to face Seattle looking for another win. For Denver, they head home to face Las Vegas.
