Rebels Fall 27-20 Against San Jose State - Game Recap

Nick Nash tore up the turf for 121 rushing yards on Thursday to lead the Spartans to a 27-20 win over the Rebels at Allegiant Stadium.

San Jose State was a favorite by -6.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 44.0.

Nick Nash rushed for 121 yards, while Isaiah Holiness added 54 yards in the win. Derrick Deese Jr. and Charles Ross added 106 and 63 receiving yards respectively.

Charles Williams rushed for 94 yards for UNLV, while Cameron Friel added 5 yards. Cameron Friel threw for 240 yards for the Rebels, while receivers Kyle Williams and Steve Jenkins had 117 and 70 yards respectively.

UNLV lost the offensive yardage battle to San Jose State 429-335 yards in Thursday's game. San Jose State had more first downs as that total ended up 20-18.

UNLV led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:18-25:42 split in that important category.

Next game, San Jose State takes its act home to face Wyoming looking for another win. For UNLV, they head on the road to face Nevada.
