Recap - Wolverines Defeat Northwestern 33-7

Northwestern was unable to contain Blake Corum on Saturday and the result was a 33-7 Week 8 loss against the Wolverines.

Michigan was the ATS victor, as they covered the -23.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 51.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Blake Corum rushed for 119 yards, while Hassan Haskins added 110 yards in the win. Erick All and Mike Sainristil added 34 and 33 receiving yards respectively.

Evan Hull rushed for 81 yards for Northwestern, while Marcus Cisco added 25 yards. Ryan Hilinski threw for 114 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Malik Washington and Evan Hull had 63 and 27 yards respectively.

Northwestern lost the offensive yardage battle to Michigan 457-233 yards in Saturday's game. Michigan had more first downs as that total ended up 28-10.

Michigan led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 39:19-20:41 split in that important category.

Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Michigan State. Northwestern will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Minnesota.
