Toledo Defeats Western Michigan 34-15 - Recap

The Broncos came up short against the Rockets in Week 8 action on Saturday, falling 34-15 at Glass Bowl.

Toledo won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +1.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 54.5.

Bryant Koback rushed for 100 yards, while Micah Kelly added 38 yards in the win. Danzel McKinley-Lewis and Devin Maddox added 34 and 32 receiving yards respectively.

Sean Tyler rushed for 48 yards for Western Michigan, while Jaxson Kincaide added 42 yards. Kaleb Eleby threw for 232 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Skyy Moore and Jaylen Hall had 128 and 88 yards respectively.

Toledo was outgained by Western Michigan 398-330 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-21 by the Rockets.

The time of possession battle favored Western Michigan as their offense was on the field for 31:45, longer than the 28:15 of their opponents.

Toledo looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Eastern Michigan. Western Michigan will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Central Michigan.
