Utah Defeats Arizona State 35-21 - Recap

Utah earned a 35-21 victory over Arizona State on Saturday in Week 7 action at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Tavion Thomas rushed for 84 yards, while Cameron Rising added 59 yards in the win. Devaughn Vele and Dalton Kincaid added 57 and 44 receiving yards respectively.

Rachaad White rushed for 56 yards for Arizona State, while DeaMonte Trayanum added 46 yards. Jayden Daniels threw for 237 yards for the Sun Devils, while receivers Curtis Hodges and LV Bunkley-Shelton had 74 and 68 yards respectively.

Utah outgained Arizona State 455-385 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 29-22 by the Utes.

Arizona State lost the time of possession battle 31:37-28:23, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Utah takes its act on the road to face Oregon State looking for another win. For Arizona State, they head home to face Washington State.
