Falcons Fall 35-20 Against Akron - Game Recap

Blake Hester scampered through the Bowling Green defense for 120 yards as Akron handed the Falcons a 35-20 defeat on Saturday at Doyt L. Perry Stadium.

The Zips were a +14.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 46.0.

Blake Hester rushed for 120 yards, while Anthony Williams Jr. added 23 yards in the win. Konata Mumpfield and George Qualls Jr. added 106 and 47 receiving yards respectively.

Jaison Patterson rushed for 79 yards for Bowling Green, while Nick Mosley added 21 yards. Matt McDonald threw for 257 yards for the Falcons, while receivers Tyrone Broden and Cavon Croom had 111 and 43 yards respectively.

Bowling Green lost the time of possession battle 32:22-27:38, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
