Georgia Southern Eagles vs Troy Trojans Wrap - Troy Wins 27-24

The Trojans grabbed a Week 6 victory over the Eagles on Saturday, winning 27-24 at Larry Blakeney Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Georgia Southern was outgained by Troy 409-301 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 18-17 by the Trojans.

Georgia Southern led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:37-26:41 split in that important category.

Troy heads into a Week 7 battle against Texas State. Georgia Southern, meanwhile, will have their next action against South Alabama.
