Houston Cougars vs Tulane Green Wave Wrap - Houston Wins 40-22

The Green Wave came up short against the Cougars in Week 6 action on Thursday, falling 40-22 at Benson Field at Yulman Stadium.

Houston was a favorite by -6.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 60.0.

Alton McCaskill rushed for 93 yards, while Mulbah Car added 41 yards in the win. KeSean Carter and Jeremy Singleton added 69 and 62 receiving yards respectively.

Cameron Carroll rushed for 68 yards for Tulane, while Tyjae Spears added 65 yards. Michael Pratt threw for 214 yards for the Green Wave, while receivers Will Wallace and Tyrick James had 54 and 54 yards respectively.

Houston outgained Tulane 435-308 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 18-17 by the Cougars.

Tulane lost the time of possession battle 31:34-28:26, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Houston looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against East Carolina. Tulane will aim to get back on the winning track at SMU.
