Indiana Falls 24-0 to Nittany Lions - Recap

Penn StateƆs defense shut down Indiana 24-0 in Week 5 action at Beaver Stadium on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions were a -12.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 54.5.

Keyvone Lee rushed for 74 yards, while Sean Clifford added 58 yards in the win. Jahan Dotson and Parker Washington added 84 and 30 receiving yards respectively.

Stephen Carr rushed for 50 yards for Indiana, while Jack Tuttle added 8 yards. Jack Tuttle threw for 77 yards for the Hoosiers, while receivers Peyton Hendershot and Ty Fryfogle had 88 and 48 yards respectively.

Indiana was outgained by Penn State 408-264 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-12 by the Nittany Lions.

Indiana lost the time of possession battle 34:53-25:07, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Penn State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Iowa. Indiana will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Michigan State.
