Northwestern Falls 56-7 to Cornhuskers - Recap

Jaquez Yant ran for 127 yards as Nebraska handled Northwestern by a score of 56-7 on Saturday at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium.

Nebraska was the ATS victor, as they covered the -10.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 51.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Jaquez Yant rushed for 127 yards, while Zavier Betts added 83 yards in the win. Samori Toure and Omar Manning added 108 and 28 receiving yards respectively.

Evan Hull rushed for 31 yards for Northwestern, while Anthony Tyus III added 29 yards. Ryan Hilinski threw for 256 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Stephon Robinson Jr. and Malik Washington had 116 and 64 yards respectively.

Nebraska outgained Northwestern 657-293 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 28-17 by the Cornhuskers.

Northwestern lost the time of possession battle 34:05-25:55, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Nebraska looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Michigan. Northwestern will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Rutgers.
