Sooners Down Kansas State 37-31 - Match Report

The Wildcats came up short against the Sooners in Week 5 action on Saturday, falling 37-31 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

The Sooners earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -12.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 52.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Kennedy Brooks rushed for 91 yards, while Spencer Rattler added 24 yards in the win. Marvin Mims and Michael Woods II added 71 and 33 receiving yards respectively.

Deuce Vaughn rushed for 51 yards for Kansas State, while Joe Ervin added 33 yards. Skylar Thompson threw for 320 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Deuce Vaughn and Landry Weber had 104 and 65 yards respectively.

Oklahoma lost the time of possession battle 32:42-27:18, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Oklahoma takes its act on the road to face Texas looking for another win. For Kansas State, they head home to face Iowa State.
