Seminoles Down Syracuse 33-30 - Match Report

Florida State got a 113-yard performance from Jordan Travis as a key part of its 33-30 victory over the Orange on Saturday at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Florida State did not, however, defeat the Orange against the spread, which closed at -5.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 50.0.

Jordan Travis rushed for 113 yards, while Treshaun Ward added 66 yards in the win. Camren McDonald and Treshaun Ward added 41 and 29 receiving yards respectively.

Garrett Shrader rushed for 137 yards for Syracuse, while Sean Tucker added 102 yards. Garrett Shrader threw for 150 yards for the Orange, while receivers Courtney Jackson and Anthony Queeley had 57 and 50 yards respectively.

Florida State was outgained by Syracuse 389-378 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-18 by the Seminoles.

Florida State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:16-29:44 split in that important category.

Next game, Florida State takes its act on the road to face North Carolina looking for another win. For Syracuse, they head home to face Wake Forest.
