Recap - Cavaliers Defeat Miami-FL 30-28

The Hurricanes came up short against the Cavaliers in Week 5 action on Thursday, falling 30-28 at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Cavaliers were a +3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 63.5.

Wayne Taulapapa rushed for 62 yards, while Keytaon Thompson added 47 yards in the win. Billy Kemp IV and Dontayvion Wicks added 81 and 75 receiving yards respectively.

Cam'Ron Harris rushed for 111 yards for Miami-FL, while Jaylan Knighton added 44 yards. Tyler Van Dyke threw for 203 yards for the Hurricanes, while receivers Charleston Rambo and Xavier Restrepo had 99 and 45 yards respectively.

Miami-FL was outgained by Virginia 449-372 yards in Thursday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-18 by the Cavaliers.

Virginia led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:24-25:36 split in that important category.

Next game, Virginia takes its act on the road to face Louisville looking for another win. For Miami-FL, they head on the road to face North Carolina.
