Recap - Tiger-Cats Defeat Calgary 23-17

Hamilton earned a 23-17 victory over Calgary on Friday in Week 7 action at Tim Hortons Field.

The Tiger-Cats were a -1.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 43.5.

David Watford rushed for 35 yards, while Papi White added 30 yards in the win. Tim White and Nikola Kalinic added 40 and 29 receiving yards respectively.

Ka'Deem Carey rushed for 26 yards for Calgary, while Jake Maier added 3 yards. Jake Maier threw for 80 yards for the Stampeders, while receivers Luther Hakunavanhu and Colton Hunchak had 88 and 46 yards respectively.

Hamilton was outgained by Calgary 279-265 yards in Friday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 15-14 by the Stampeders.

The time of possession battle favored Hamilton as their offense was on the field for 34:41, longer than the 25:19 of their opponents.

Hamilton heads into a Week 8 battle against the REDBLACKS. Calgary, meanwhile, will have their next action against Saskatchewan.
