Recap - North Carolina Central Defeats Bluefield State 68-44

North Carolina Central cruised to victory on Thursday, running Bluefield State out of the gym and running up a 68-44 score at McDougald-McLendon Gymnasium.

North Carolina Central got 28 points from Jibri Blount and another 18 points from Randy Miller Jr.. Jordan Perkins contributed 8 assists, while Kobby Ayetey cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.

Bluefield State got a 13-point performance from Marquez Cooper, who was supported by 9 points from Taj-Maal Toney. Greg Purnell had 2 assists in a losing cause for Bluefield State, while Taj-Maal Toney grabbed 11 rebounds.

North Carolina Central was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Bluefield State had a 43-41 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

North Carolina Central looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Southern Illinois. Bluefield State will aim to get back on the winning track at Marshall.
