Suns Down New Orleans 111-86 - Match Report

The battle between the Suns and Pelicans didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as New Orleans was handed a 111-86 defeat on Tuesday at PHX Arena.

The Suns were a -1.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 221.0.

Jae Crowder had 21 points for Phoenix and Cameron Johnson chipped in with 18 points. Chris Paul had 9 assists for the Suns, while Deandre Ayton was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.

New Orleans got 20 points from Zion Williamson in a losing cause and another 13 points from Brandon Ingram. Brandon Ingram contributed 6 assists for the Pelicans, while Steven Adams had 8 rebounds.

Phoenix led at halftime, 66-44.

Phoenix won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-41.

Next game, Phoenix takes its act on the road to face Utah looking for another win. For New Orleans, they head on the road to face Oklahoma City.
