Portland Defeats Detroit 107-104 - Recap

CJ McCollum scored 41 points and chipped in with 12 assists for Portland on Sunday, leading the Trail Blazers to a 107-104 victory over Detroit at Moda Center at the Rose Quarter.

The Trail Blazers won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -5.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Carmelo Anthony had 32 points for Portland and Hassan Whiteside chipped in with 16 points. CJ McCollum had 12 assists for the Trail Blazers, while Hassan Whiteside was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 17 boards.

Detroit got 26 points from Christian Wood in a losing cause and another 15 points from Brandon Knight. Langston Galloway contributed 4 assists for the Pistons, while Bruce Brown had 10 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Portland were victorious, as the score was 53-51 at the break.

Detroit won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-41.

Portland looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Celtics. The Pistons will aim to get back on the winning track at Denver.
