Hornets vs Pistons Final: 109-106 - Recap

The Hornets grabbed a 109-106 win over the Pistons on Friday, behind a 19-point effort from Malik Monk at Spectrum Center.

Charlotte got 19 points from Terry Rozier and another 18 points from Devonte' Graham. Devonte' Graham contributed 10 assists, while Cody Zeller cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.

The Pistons got a 32-point performance from Langston Galloway, who was supported by 19 points from Blake Griffin. Bruce Brown Jr. had 7 assists in a losing cause for Detroit, while Andre Drummond grabbed 20 rebounds.

The Hornets hit the break losing 65-51 before taking care of business in the second half.

Detroit had a 42-41 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Charlotte takes its act on the road to face New York looking for another win. For Detroit, they head on the road to face Chicago.
